Mike has been successfully helping clients buy and sell homes in the Peel and Halton region since 2013. Mike and Mirella have been residences of the Peel community since 2001, therefore, understand the neighbourhoods and the multitude of benefits to living in the Peel region. Mike discovered his love of real estate early on in his professional career. He became a licensed Real Estate professional in 2013 and immediately went to work. He came from the world of luxury retail management where he learned that exceptional customer service is the key to success. His client’s needs always come first ensuring they are heard, respected and included throughout the buying or selling process. Mike is a people person due to his attentive and friendly nature his clients often turn into friends.

Mike loves watching how satisfied and confident his clients become as they move through the purchase or sale experience. He enjoys every aspect of the real estate process from meeting new clients to discovering their needs and wants to the challenge of finding that perfect home. He respects the fact that a realtor is privileged to personal information and protects his client’s privacy at all times.

Mike has developed exceptional skill for presenting an offer and negotiation on behalf of his client. He was hired to get the best possible outcome for his client and he takes that to heart. Mike is a family man who spends a lot of time at the local rink with his young sons. He loves being part of the hockey community as a coach and a mentor and believes that being involved in sports promotes healthy competition and instills valuable life lessons. He has been active in the Mississauga Hockey community for since 2008. Mike understands the active lifestyle of a busy family and will work with his clients to ensure they find the home they deserve.


About Mirella

Mirella exudes positivity and light everywhere she goes! She is loved by all who are fortunate enough to know her. After spending a few minutes with Mirella, it will feel like you have been friends for years. She is goal oriented, always seeking the next challenge and once she starts a project, she will see it through to completion. She attracts success everywhere she goes.

Mirella began her career in the corporate world. After graduating from York University with a double major in Law and Society and Sociology, she began working at a prestigious law firm in Toronto. She quickly worked her way up the ladder by obtaining her Human Resources Management certificate and being promoted to Human Resources Manager.

Over time, she was seeking something more fulfilling in her professional life. She bravely decided to dive into the world of entrepreneurship by locking arms with a social networking company. As a result, Mirella became well connected within different networks. She was introduced to Business Networking International (BNI) in 2016. Within three months she was asked to be on the Regional Support Team as a Director Consultant for start-up BNI chapters. She has successfully opened several BNI Chapters in the Golden Horseshoe area. Her commitment to excellence is unmatched and her ability to motivate others to reach their full potential exceeds expectations.

Mirella embarked on yet another professional challenge in 2018 and is now a fully licensed Real Estate professional. Her dream was to join her husband, Mike, in the real estate business to launch their own real estate team, Canavan Real Estate Group. Besides her personal hands-on approach to managing her clients, she offers her unique network of connections both locally and internationally. Wherever your real estate journey takes you, she will assist you in every aspect along the way. As a well-respected member of the community, she was welcomed into the real estate profession with open arms.
